Brian Kelly
Financial Controller
Brian is the longest serving member of Proflo having joined the company in 2002. His role as financial controller also encompasses credit control and IT functions. Brian is an avid football fan and supports Everton. He also enjoys cycling and horse racing.
Les O’Connor
General Manager
Les joined the company in 2007 as an internal sales assistant. His talents were quickly observed, and he was appointed general manager in 2008. His role entails the day to day management of the internal and external sales team, technical support and stock control. Les is a health fanatic and enjoys walking, cycling, running, football (Liverpool supporter) and horse racing.
Maria Healy
Internal Sales Administrator
Maria joined the company in 2012 having worked in the pipeline industry for the previous eight years. Maria’s role as internal sales administrator involves not only sales but the preparation of quotations, technical support and logistics. Maria is the main support / contact / lead for many clients such as Irish Water etc. She likes hill walking, dancing and music.
Sara Herbert
Accounts Administrator
Sara joined the company in 2013 as an accounts administrator but since then has become an integral part of the financial team. Her role includes backing up the financial controller, dealing with the purchase and sales ledgers, payments, account queries etc. She works alongside Brian and Anne and her interests include live music and the cinema.
Anne Burkett
Account’s Administrator
Anne joined the company as an account’s administrator in 2013. Her role includes general queries, updating of the costings etc on the IT system and reception duties. Before working for Proflo Anne worked in the printing industry for a number of years again in the financial side of the business. Anne has two son’s and enjoys walking, the cinema and live music.
John Burkett
Quality Manager
John joined the company in 2017 and came from the metal fabrication industry. His role includes internal sales, technical support and the general office duties. In 2017 John became team lead for the company when we sought to secure ISO certification. John’s role now encompasses the management of the Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety standards within the company and he liaises with our external advisors and auditors. He is also responsible for the implementation of any new requirements of the standards and to ensure that we remain fully compliant in line with our responsibilities.
Darren Dunning
Internal Sales, Technical / Site Support
Darren joined the company in 2015 having spent many years in the motor industry. He did spend several years working in the water industry so was familiar with it and decided to return to it in 2014. Darren role entails internal sales, technical / site support and good received duties. Darren deals on a day to day basis with most of our “walk in “clients and looks after some aspects of stock control. Darren likes motorsport, soccer and is married with three children.
Michael Lyons
Team Lead
Michael joined Proflo in 2014 having worked in the water metering and the pump side of the construction industry for many years. Michaels main role is team lead and main contact for Irish Water and our Group Water Supply Scheme clients. Michaels knowledge on water metering, pipes, valves and fittings is vast and he can provide technical support on all products. Michael is married with two children and enjoys Gaelic football, hurling and all types of music.
Sean O’Neill
External Sales & Technical / Site Support
Sean joined the company in 2014 having worked in the pipeline industry for twenty years. Sean’s main role is external sales and technical / site support. Sean has a vast knowledge of drainage channels, manhole covers, pipes and all associated products. He is an avid golfer and enjoys football and lives in Ashbourne, Co Meath. He is married with four sons and trains an underage soccer team.
Alan Phelan
External Sales & Technical / Site Support
Alan decided to join the Proflo team in 2014 having worked with a multinational builder’s merchant for many years. Alan’s role predomately is external sales, technical and site support. Alan’s vast knowledge of the entire Proflo portfolio is second to none and he covers mainly the Munster area. Alan is married with two children and lives in Kilkenny. He enjoys hurling, Gaelic football and soccer.
Eamon Kavanagh
Managing Director
Eamon is managing director, owner and company secretary at Proflo. He purchased the company in 2010 and set about building a company with strong business ethics with a focus on complete customer needs. As MD Eamon does not get to spend as much time as he would like out on sites but strives to make Proflo the best specialist builder’s merchant in the country. The company has benefitted from his 31 years of experience in the pipeline industry and now employees nineteen staff with an annual turnover in excess of €9m. Eamon is married with three daughters and lives in Naas Co Kildare. Eamon enjoys shooting, fishing and any type music.
